My son joined the dojo two years ago. I was happy he had some physical activity several times a week. After about six months, Shihan Jorge Decenaencouraged him to compete. His first tournament he won bronze. His next four tournaments he won gold (Kata &Kumite). Shihan saw something in my son and nurtured it. My son now is working hard to train for the Nationals. Shihan has competed at the highest level of Karate and passes on his knowledge and experience to his students. I know my son will realize his full potential at USKDA.
USKDA has given so much to our family. Our son truly loves his time spent training. He asks every day to go to the dojo. He truly feels the dojo is his second home; his teachers and classmates are his extended family. After a few months of Karate, I noticed a marked improvement in his school work. Karate has taught him hard work, goal setting, sportsmanship, and confidence. We all enjoy the welcoming, family atmosphere at USKDA. We love all that Karate has done for him.
We are honored to be a part of USKDA ! All the teachers are attentive to the needs of each individual and that is something I love about the dojo it has that dojo family atmosphere with strict discipline and fun! My son Tanner has been training here since 2016 and we love it! Give it a try you won’t be disappointed!
